Torture falacy

Okay nimrods of the world who try to justify bloody deeds, here's the scooby on the "ticking time bomb" defense of torturing humans.  You've watched way too much TV. Here's a clue, and I'll wave the $0.25 and give it to you for free. If someone is in custody with knowledge of how to difuse the bomb that will go off in a short period of time, said person knows that he/she/it needs only withstand the pain for that short period of time. He/she/it also knows that this is a prime opportunity to provide false information; this person has no motivation for giving up the secret. Stop using your cranium for a hat rack and think about it. It is another strawman for the totalitarians bent on wrapping our flag in a failed ideology.

And a question for Dick. If torturing people is such a valuable tactic, then why weren't you torturing people BEFORE 9-11 so that you could protect us? Huh? Could it be because you neocons are incompetents? I'll go with that for now.
